Our Doctors and Staff

	Vincent A. Pennipede, O.D. – Founder Dr. Pennipede earned his Doctor of Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1982. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. Before founding Eye Associates in 1988, Dr. Pennipede was on the staff at Munson Army Hospital, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Dr. Pennipede has received numerous awards and honors including nomination to the Beta Sigma Kappa Honorary Fraternity. He has published a variety of scientific articles for the professional optometric community. Dr. Pennipede is a member of the American Optometric Society, American College of Optometric Physicians, and the Kansas Optometric Association. He is licensed in Optometry in several states, including Kansas, Missouri, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Arizona. He resides in Leawood with his wife, Sandy, and two sons, Nick and Dante.

	Mark L. Siefkes, O.D. – Associate Dr. Siefkes is from Great Bend, Kansas. He attended Kansas State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1994. Dr. Siefkes earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1998, from the University of Missouri School of Optometry in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed an internship at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Siefkes has received awards and honors which include nomination to the Beta Sigma Kappa Honorary Fraternity and the Contact Lens Clinical Award at the University of Missouri in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Siefkes is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kansas Optometric Association. He is licensed to practice optometry in Kansas and Missouri. Dr. Siefkes resides in Overland Park with his wife, Kelli and son, Aidan.

	John T. Davis, O.D. – Partner Dr. Davis was raised in Dodge City, Kansas. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas, in 1987. He subsequently earned his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, Houston, Texas, in 1992. Before joining Eye Associates in 1992, Dr. Davis completed an internship at the Ophthalmology Clinic, Irwin Army Hospital, Fort Riley, Kansas. He is licensed to practice Optometry in Kansas and Texas, and he is also a member of the Kansas Optometric and the American Optometric Associations. Dr. Davis and his wife, Kim, currently reside in Overland Park.

	Nicci R. Noyce, O.D. – Associate Dr. Noyce is from Concordia, KS. She received her Bachelor of General Studies in Human Biology from the University of Kansas in 1998. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri School of Optometry in St. Louis. Before joining Eye Associates, Dr. Noyce completed internships at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Kansas City and the Cornea and Contact Lens Research Unit in Sydney, Australia. She was nominated for membership to Beta Sigma Kappa honor society and has received a merit award from the American Optometric Student Association. Dr. Noyce resides in Overland Park.

	Christina A. Bartimus, O.D. – Associate Dr. Bartimus was raised in Harrisonville, Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1998. In 2002, Dr. Bartimus graduated magna cum laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago with her Doctor of Optometry degree. Prior to joining Eye Associates, Dr. Bartimus completed a postdoctoral residency in pediatrics/binocular vision. She received specialty training at the Illinois Eye Institute and University of Chicago in the following areas: infant and toddler vision care, treatment of binocular vision problems, and evaluation of learning-related visual problems. Dr. Bartimus has presented information related to her specialty at the American Academy of Optometry and given lectures to other health professionals and educators. She is a member of several honorary optometric societies, including Beta Sigma Kappa, Tomb and Key Fraternity, and Gold Key. Dr. Bartimus is licensed to practice in Illinois, Kansas, and Missouri. She is also a member of the Kansas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Bartimus and her husband John reside in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

	Jayme R. Fose, O.D. – Associate Dr. Fose is from WaKeeney, Kansas. She received her Bachelor of Chemistry degree from Fort Hays State University in 2003. Dr. Fose earned her Doctor of Optometry in 2007 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. As a member of Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity (SVOSH), she travelled to El Salvador and the Dominican Republic to provide eye care to the underserved. Dr. Fose was nominated by the S.C.O. faculty for recognition in "Who's Who Among American Professionals." She is a member of the Kansas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Fose currently resides in Prairie Village.

	Andrea D. Beedles, O.D. – Associate Dr. Beedles is from Rose Hill, Kansas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University in 2003. Dr. Beedles graduated magna cum laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2008. During her tenure at Southern College of Optometry she received multiple awards including nomination to Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, the Clinical Skills Award, and the Low Vision Clinical Award. Dr. Beedles is a member of the Kansas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She is licensed to practice optometry in Kansas and Missouri. Dr. Beedles currently resides in Overland Park.

	Bruce Parsa, M.D. Dr. Parsa has joined the Eye Associates as a consultant in the Human Resouces Department. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Med and Chemistry at Kansas State University. Dr. Parsa received his Medical Degree from the University of Health Science. Dr. Parsa then completed four years of Post Doctorate Training at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Medicine. Dr. Parsa has extensive traning in Neurological and Behavorial Science. He lives in Overland Park area with his wife and two children.

	Michael J. Epstein – A.B.O.C. Dispensing Optician Mike Epstein began his career with Eye Associates in March of 1996. Mike is a Certified Optician with nearly 35 years of experience in the field. Mike is active in both the Vintage Volkswagen Club of America & the Local Civil War Roundtable. Mike resides in Prairie Village.

	Dominic Dwyer – A.B.O.C. Dispensing Optician Dominic has over 5 years of optical experience and is an ABO certified optician. He enjoys spending time with his godchildren and training his birds.

	David McNeal – A.B.O.C. Dispensing Optician Dave has just celebrated his seven year anniversary with Eye Associates and currently has over 10 years lab experience. He continues to tinker with his most expensive hobby, his house. He enjoys replicating medieval woodwork and leather work in an organization that studies and re-enacts the Middle Ages. While around the house and very often while running errands he's accompanied by his Olde English Bulldogge, Prinny, who is his constant companion.

	Jennifer Schnedler – A.B.O.C. Dispensing Optician Jenny is from Nevada, Missouri. She received her B.S. in Biology from Pittsburg State University. Jenny has over three years of optical experience.

	Stuart Burnett Stuart Burnett joined the Eye Associates staff in January 2006. He has over 5 years of customer service skills, as well as 3 years of optical experience. Stuart has a son and enjoys the time they spend together. He currently resides in Overland Park.

	Connie Calvert Connie Calvert joined Eye Associates in February of 2004. She brings 7 years of optician experience to our eye care family. Connie has lived in Olathe for most of her life and has 2 children. She enjoys spending time with her family and her 3 grandchildren, reading, and crafting.

	Donna Corbett Donna was born and raised in Kansas City. For 15 years she and her husband lived in Oregon and raised their children. They moved back home to Kansas in 2006, and Donna joined the Eye Associates family. Donna brings over 6 years of optical and customer service knowledge to our Eye Associates family. Her favorite past time is playing with her grandchildren.

	Chad Dike – Contact Lens Coordinator Chad joined the Eye Associates staff in March of 2000. He has served as insurance coordinator for the Olathe office and is now the Contact Lens Coordinator for Overland Park. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of our optometric practice and handles much of our inventory. He currently resides in Kansas City, MO.

	Hector Facio Hector joined the Eye Associates team in March 2002 as our bilingual technician and currently serves as the Contact Lens Specialist at our Olathe location. He is proficient in English and Spanish languages. Hector enjoys playing sports and spending time with his wife Michelle and their four boys. They currently reside in Kansas City, KS.

	Carrol Garrie Carrol joined the Eye Associates staff during March Madness in 2008, bringing over 6 years of optical service with her. She is an avid KU Basketball fan and also loves to fish and spend time with her 6 grandchildren. Carrol and her husband Jerry are residents of Harrisonville, MO.

	Linda M. Hittle Linda grew up in a small town in NE Kansas, and just recently moved to the Kansas City area. She joined our team in August of 2003 as a technician and brings 5 years of experience with her. Linda has 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren.

	Constance Holte Conni has been with the Eye Associates team since moving to Kansas from California in 2000. She has been one of our Insurance/Accounts Receivable Coordinators since 2003. Conni and her husband Rick live in Paola, KS on three acres with a herd of cats and dogs. Conni enjoys reading and crafts.

	Soumaly Khamvongsa Mauly is from Liberal, Kansas. She joined Eye Associates in the fall of 2007. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 2005, where she received her bachelors degree in economics.

	Bryan Kokoruda Bryan joined Eye Associates in June of 2008 and brings 3 years of optical experience to our team. In addition to his dedication to the Eye Associates team, he is currently working on a BS in Communications. Brian and his fiancee’ Erika currently reside in Merriam, KS. He enjoys watching Chief’s football and KU basketball.

	Linda Mai Linda was raised in southwest Kansas. She has a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology from the University of Kansas and currently resides in the Kansas City area. She brings several years of customer service experience to Eye Associates.

	LeeAnn Marks LeeAnn joined the Eye Associates team in June of 2008 bringing with her 3 years of optometry experience from Manhattan, KS. LeeAnn has recently graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She is considering furthering her education in the field of optometry.

	Glenn Nobles Glenn Nobles joined the Eye Associates team in the Spring of 2004. His excellent customer service and attention to detail quickly earned him the position of Office Coordinator at our Olathe office. Glenn has 9 years of optical experience. He is a Kansas native and he and his beautiful wife and three great children live in the Kansas City area. Glenn enjoys working in the optical field because it enables him to help his community receive the service and professional eye care they deserve. Glenn enjoys watching his children play sports and he and his family are regulars at the Kansas City T-Bones' baseball games.

	Michelle Parsons Michelle joined the Eye Associates team in the beginning of 2008. Before coming to us she was in the nursing field and she also has extensive customer service experience. You can find Michelle in the lab at our Shawnee office, fitting glasses, making lenses and assisting our patients. When she’s not at work Michelle enjoys spending time with her son and their 4 cats.

	Amy Pfeifer Amy joined Eye Associates in July of 2002. Amy brings eight years of customer service experience to our team. She has recently become an Insurance Coordinator, but can still be found helping out as a technician when needed. Amy lives in Overland Park with her son. She enjoys spending time with him and painting and doing crafts.

	Heather Post Heather joined Eye Associates Shawnee location in October 2007. She is new to the world of optometry, but brings over 7 years of sales and customer service experience. Heather relocated to Kansas City, MO from St. Cloud, MN and is enjoying getting to know the area.

	Nicole Roth Nicole lives in Olathe with her husband Scott and their three children. Her interests include art and muscle cars. When she joined the Eye Associates team in the Summer of 2008 she brought over 10 years of customer service and front office expertise. Nicole adds a bright spot of enthusiasm to the office experience at Eye Associates.

	Connie L. Russell We welcomed Connie to our front desk team in August of 2003. She lives in Eudora, KS and enjoys spending time with her wonderful nieces and nephews. Connie is an avid gardener and enjoys sports as well.

	Melissa Schmidt Melissa is originally from the Kansas City area and attended Kansas University graduating in 2007 with her B. A. in Human Biology. Besides her love for the optical business, she plans to attend Optometry School in the fall of 2008. In her spare time, she helps plan fundraisers for St. Jude Children's Hospital.

	Clara Wass Clara Wass joined the Eye Associates staff in May of 2002. She has over eight years of optical experience, and is currently pursuing certification as an optician. Clara resides in south Kansas City.

	Amanda West Amanda grew up in Califorina movied to Kansas City in 2000. She comes to us with 5 years experience in customer service and insurance. She enjoys spending time with family and meeting new people.

	Stacey Williams Stacey joined the Eye Associates family in August of 2007. She is originally from Columbia, Missouri. Stacey graduated from the University of Missouri in May of 2004 with a bachelors degree in psychology and religious studies. She has been working in the optical field since July of 2000.
